Starcraft: Brood War is mostly known for its highly competetive gameplay. The objective of the game is to produce units as fast as possible while setting up new bases and getting larger and larger armies. There are two sources of income, vespene gas and minerals. In Brood War a player must use strategic plays in combination with good mechanics and gameplay to succeed. Starcraft is typically fought in one vs one battles, but also allows for massives battles with up to 8 players fighting in huge all out brawls or team battles. There are three races a player is able to choose in Starcraft: Brood War. There is the alien, monsterous race called the Zerg, feared throughout the universe. There is the other alien race, the Protoss, known as the mortal enemy of the Zerg. Finally, you have the human race, the Terrans, equipped with deadly weaponry of the future.
